Dance

Kirra had a great year of dance and made some great friends. I got to watch Kirra's dance recital piece for the first time at the rehearsal. As I watched from the balcony, I got teary at the growth I saw in Kirra and her friends. Many of these girls were in class together last year and it was wonderful to see how far they had come and how together their dance was. They really knew their steps, had great placement on stage and incredible stage presence. They had energy and seemed to have so much fun, despite some nerves. I was so proud of Kirra.

Day of Dance Recital

Kirra celebrated the end of her dance season by having all her friends from her dance class over for an Ice Cream Sundae Party. I think this is the start of a new tradition. The girls ate up lots of ice cream and had fun playing together in the yard., even when it was getting pretty cool later in the evening. They were all disappointed when the moms showed up because they didn't want the party to end. I am so grateful for the close friendships that formed among the girls this year.

We just received Kirra's Professional Dance Pics. They turned out so well and with each passing year I see how much she is growing.

She is excited about the upcoming dance season and has registered in two classes next year. She will be in a class with some of her friends again which makes it that much more exciting.
