Christmas Carols & Kirra's Pre-School Concert

Jaret, along with the rest of the Grade 1 and 2 class from SCS, performed at Market Mall on Wednesday noon hour.  It was nice to hear the Christmas carols they were singing.  Jaret doesn't enjoy singing so I wasn't sure he would participate in the singing.  He was in the back row and he did sing - some.  He knows all the words to the songs but doesn't love being in front of an audience.  He would rather be in the background than in the front row standing out.  However, it was cute seeing his shy, little smile as he looked at us to wave.  My Mom was visiting from Regina and joined us for Jaret's Christmas Carolling.  My Grandma Martha also came to have lunch with us and hear Jaret and his class sing.  Afterward, they got to go mini golfing which he really enjoyed.  I will share more photos and videos of Jaret's Christmas concert next week.

Kirra had her Pre-School Christmas Concert today and it was adorable to see all the little ones up on stage performing.  Her teacher, Ms. B, did a wonderful job with the kids. Kirra couldn't wait for "Stage Day" and was counting down the days.  As Terry was tucking her and kissing her good night the night before the big day, he told her he couldn't wait for her concert tomorrow.  She sleepily said, "Me either. Now get some sleep."  When I woke Kirra up this morning, she jumped out of bed so excited for this special day.  The concert was short but the class did a number of songs and a couple of poems that they had been practicing.  Afterward, there was a coffee/juice time with Christmas treats.  I will include a few pictures and videos.

Thanks, Lisa! So glad Mom could be here to enjoy it with us. Jaret's school Christmas Concert is next week and we are looking forward to that as well. Jaret's class is doing a black light show so they need to wear all black.
