I feel so blessed in my life. This blog is to share those blessings with our loved ones who live too far away to share in the joys we encounter on a daily basis. It is my mission to live a life that is full of gratitude and have a heart that is full of gratitude. Hope that you are taking the time to experience the joy in your life and to be grateful for your many blessings. ~ "When we lose one blessing, another is often, most unexpectedly, given in its place." ~C.S. Summer is almost over
September Long Weekend is upon us. Not sure how it snuck up on us so quickly as it feels like it should still be August. Although, the cool evenings out there tell me differently. I do love fall. I enjoy getting back to routine after the lazier days of summer. I enjoy the crisp mornings and the colourful leaves. I also enjoy a cozy sweater and walks outside with my family, maybe even my hands wrapped around a Starbucks Hot Chocolate. In the evenings, I enjoy cuddling up on the couch with candles lit for ambiance - exactly what I am doing right now. But, I am not sure I am ready to say good-bye to summer yet. And I know that my kiddos aren't either. After supper tonight they headed into the back yard and onto the trampoline again so that they could take advantage of the last bit of light before bed, even though it was past bedtime (probably not great when we should be getting back into routine with school starting for Jaret in just two sleeps). But, how can Mom refuse allowing them to enjoy all they can of these summer days. In fact, after finishing the dishes and cleaning up the kitchen, I joined them for some fun on the trampoline. Enjoy the last bit of your summer, everyone!
