After a quick bite to eat, the kids were eager to get out and do some trick or treating. It was so cute watching Kirra walk up to the door and say, "Trick or Treat" this year. She got a few awwwws which always does a mom's heart good. The kids only did the bay before we went to the church.
Every year at our church, the staff put on a Family Carnival. It is such a wonderful event. They have so many volunteers who put in countless hours to make this even such a success. From volunteers running all the stations - too many to even count - from ring toss type games, to football throw, to bouncers, to laser tag for the older ones - something for everyone. And of course, treats at each station. They also have volunteers handing out free corndogs (not my favourite but they seem to be a hit with people) and snow cones of every colour. The church sure knows how to do it and when they put something on they do it right. The kids had a blast. Thanks Foothills Family!
Happy Halloween!
