Saturday evening, we went over the Mark & Shea's for a delicious steak supper, complete with champagne. We drank champagne for no particular reason, except that Mark said it needed to be consumed this year. Jaret and McKinely burned off so much energy playing in the backyard until it became dark and therefore had no problems going to sleep. It was nice to have all four sleeping by 8:30 and our intent was to play games but instead we just sat around the table, enjoying our Crave cupcakes, and visiting. It was a reminder of how quiet things were when we used to hang out prior to having kids.
Sunday was also a beautiful day but felt more fall like. We went to Confederation Park in the morning and had family pictures done by Shawna. I am so excited to see how they turned out. The colours were magnificent and the kids did okay co-operating for pictures. Even Terry co-operated - lol. Although, I think he was still just too excited about booking a trip the night before; he and Mark and planning to see a Seahawk vs. 49er game in San Fransisco in early December.
I had a couple of Stella & Dot shows on the weekend so some of my time on the weekend was spent doing the show and then entering in orders and doing follow-up. I am loving this new venture and can't believe I didn't get into it sooner!
And that was our weekend!
