Nine Months Old

Kirra is nine months old today. She is a happy, little girl and she seems to be wanting to be more independent all the time. She is not content to just sit around but would rather be up and walking around the house or standing holding on to something to steady herself and play. She is enjoying food and especially loves to eat Cheerios as a snack with her big brother. She just adores Jaret and is always looking if he is nearby to play with her. The last couple of days Kirra has had a runny nose, cough, diaper rash, and red cheeks. I haven't been sure if it is just a slight cold or if those front teeth will appear. She loves chewing on her little toothbrush but doesn't like when Mommy checks to see if those teeth have cut through. Kirra is sleeping better at night and will even go down better for Terry. Last night I came home after being out with a friend to find Terry asleep on the couch and Kirra asleep on his chest. They both seemed very content.
Well, must go get ready. Terry and I are going out for supper tonight - celebrating 10 years ago today that he proposed to me - we really should go skating.
