Jaret's 4th Birthday

Jaret turned four last Friday. We celebrated by going to Montana's for supper as that was his choice. Mark, Shea, and McKinley were able to join us. After supper, the staff at Montana's brought Jaret his dessert. They place a hat on his head and sang to him. He seemed a little shy and didn't quite know what to think of the hat.
Jaret's birthday party was on Sunday afternoon. Two of his good friends who he has known since he was a baby, Hudson and Joseph, weren't able to make it. He did celebrate with them another day at The Urban Treehouse in Airdrie. Jaret had a blast at his birthday though. In attendance were: Lexi, Erika, Brett, Noah, Hannah, Micah, Sophie, McKinley, Caleb, and Noah. Jaret chose to have a NHL themed birthday and we even did a pinata, although it didn't work so well and Terry ended up shaking the candy out of it. A fun time was had by all! When Jaret is asked how old he is, he still sometimes looks at me for confirmation that he is four. "I'm four now, right Mommy?" I guess it is even hard for him to believe.
