Terry got tickets to the Rider vs. Stamps game and was excited to take Jaret. It started out as a beautiful night for a football game but by half-time the wind picked up and it really cooled down. As Jaret's attention span was weaning, Terry decided to call it a night and come home and watch the rest of the game on tv. It was a great game and the Riders came through to win it in the end. Terry liked taking Jaret but I think he was wishing that they would have stuck it out to see the end of the game live. Jaret was so excited about the Rider game. "Mommy, I get to go to the football game with Daddy but you and Kirra have to stay home and watch it because you don't have tickets. And we're going to cheers for the Riders!" Both Terry and Jaret dressed in their Rider jerseys and put a tatoo on their face. Jaret said, "Daddy, I want to be just like you because I love you so much!" I thank God for such precious and treasured moments.
I feel so blessed in my life. This blog is to share those blessings with our loved ones who live too far away to share in the joys we encounter on a daily basis. It is my mission to live a life that is full of gratitude and have a heart that is full of gratitude. Hope that you are taking the time to experience the joy in your life and to be grateful for your many blessings. ~ "When we lose one blessing, another is often, most unexpectedly, given in its place." ~C.S. Just like my Daddy!
Jaret is growing bigger all the time. He watches Terry and I constantly and then will say things like, "When I grow bigger into an adult can I do that too?" He loves spending time with his Daddy and often asks during the day, "Is Daddy coming home soon?" I try not to take it personally and believe that he does like to spend time with me too. Many times when Jaret wakes up, Terry is already gone for the day and then if Terry works late, Jaret only gets a short time with him before bedtime so it is time that is treasured by both of them.
