I feel so blessed in my life. This blog is to share those blessings with our loved ones who live too far away to share in the joys we encounter on a daily basis. It is my mission to live a life that is full of gratitude and have a heart that is full of gratitude. Hope that you are taking the time to experience the joy in your life and to be grateful for your many blessings. ~ "When we lose one blessing, another is often, most unexpectedly, given in its place." ~C.S. Weekend in Banff
We had a nice weekend in Banff. We went up for my cousin Chris' wedding. The ceremony was in a beautiful little church that I didn't even know existed in Banff. It was a very hot day though and quite warm in the church. Belinda looked beautiful in her wedding gown and Chris looked very handsome. I am sure that their wedding pictures will be amazing with the setting of the mountains. The dinner was delicious. The speeches/toasts started during supper, followed by a slideshow, and then the dance. It was just before 10 o'clock by this point and we had Jaret and Kirra with us so we didn't stay long. Jaret got to dance with Phoenix (my cousin Crystal's little girl) and we got a family dance in before we went back to the hotel to call it a night. The next morning we joined the family for breakfast, said our good-byes, and then spent some time in Banff. We always enjoy spending time at Bow Falls so that's where we ended up. Jaret and Terry spent time throwing rocks in the water and climbing the rocks. Kirra and I just hung out and enjoyed the scenery. We then had lunch at Earl's (Jaret says it more like "EAR-LS") and drove home. Jaret was so exhausted that he slept the whole way home and then some while lying on the couch at home.
