We have made it to 100 posts on my blog! Hope that you are enjoying keeping updated on the happenings in the Lockhart household via this blog. I enjoy keeping it up as a means to see Jaret's growth overtime, especially since I am not scrapbooking anymore. One day I will get back to it and will have a record to help me.
We have been taking it pretty easy around here, mostly due to the fact that I have been feeling pretty exhausted and nauseous during this preganancy - something I never experienced when pregnant with Jaret. I am starting to show slightly - although it is more of just that feeling fat stage with no real belly popping out. I had my 12 week ultrasound this past week and all looks well. It was such a relief to see the baby moving around and to see such a strong heartbeat (171 beats/minute). I was contemplating not going to this ultrasound, but after the miscarriage last December, I just needed reassurance that all was well with this little babe. As I saw the little one moving on the screen (too early to feel it), it brought tears to my eyes. God is good and His blessings are evident each day in our lives.
Our weekend - Terry and Jaret met Mark and McKinley for breakfast on Saturday morning. From there we went to the mall to run a couple of errands. We then stopped at the Pumpkin Giveaway on the way home and Jaret helped pick out a pumpkin. We're not sure we'll get around to carving it but we'll see. Saturday evening we watched the Rider game and were so glad that the Rider's pulled off a win.
Sunday - Terry's Birthday. We slept in and took it easy as Terry is trying to get over a cold. Jaret and I took Terry out for lunch to Earl's. We ran a few errands on the way home, inlcuding stopping at Superstore for some tiramasu for Terry's birthday 'cake.' Jaret and I napped while Terry enjoyed watching the Seahawks beat the 49er's. Afterwards we headed to the swimming pool for a Sunday swim. Jaret loves the water, something he must get from his dad. Happy Birthday Terry!

This is such a fun age. Everything fills them with awe- even a pumpkin patch. Guess that's why God wants us to be like little children. What a blessing. Jaret is so cute and looking like a little boy- no more baby look.

Thanks April. It really is a fun age. He is so curious about the world around him and just wants to experience everything and be a part of it. He is growing up, too fast, right before our eyes! He's such a blessing!
