Last weekend we enjoyed supper out on Friday night at Earl's. Jaret loves going there, as do we so when he asked if we could go there, we didn't object as it meant that we didn't have to cook. Saturday we went to the Dino's football game and it was an absolutely beautiful afternoon to be out watching football. The rest of the weekend we just enjoyed being outside as the weather still felt like summer.
This weekend we have taken it fairly easy. I have been sick with a bad cold since Wednesday. It caused an awful earache that made me feel even more sick and so I actually missed school on Thursday and Friday. Jaret still went to the dayhome though which allowed me the luxury of sleeping through the days. On Saturday we went to Hudson's third birthday party. Jaret had so much fun - especially jumping on the trampoline and wrestling with the other kids. There was a point where he and another boy collided and there were tears but they didn't last long and he wanted back on immediately. He is a true boy. That has really been the highlight of our weekend as the rest of the weekend we have just stuck around the house. Although, I am sure that Jaret would say that he also enjoyed his morning. Terry allowed me to sleep in and he took Jaret to Tim Horton's at the airport. All weekend Jaret has been saying he wanted to go to the airport, so he finally got his wish. He loves it there. He may just be looking toward a future in aviation.
Attaching some pics from a couple weekends back in which Jaret decided to dump our full garbage of shredded paper. He thought it was so much fun and told me that it was like Christmas with snow. Cute - not so sure - it took quite awhile to clean up. But, Jaret did help with that.
