Friday night we didn't do much - a little cleaning - a little boring. Saturday we went shopping and then once Jaret was in bed for the evening, watched a movie. Sunday after church we went to Calaway Park (unfortuantely though we forgot the camera). It was so much fun! We took Jaret on the log ride. After we had gone down the first drop and got wet, we asked Jaret if he liked it and he said yes but said he didn't want to go on again. Little did he know that we were still on the ride and had the biggest drop with the biggest splash to go. He did fine though and didn't mind getting wet too much but told us that he didn't want to go on again. We did some other rides and he was finally big enough to go on the mini roller coaster by himself (it really is mini). So we strapped him in and watched as he and the other kids took off. As soon as the ride started, the kids started screaming and I thought that would bother him. We watched his face and he wasn't smiling which had Terry worried he was hating it. But it was just Jaret's trademark mouth open in surprise look and it wasn't long before he was screaming with the others. As soon as we took him off, he wanted to go on again so we let him. Then before we left, he went on one last time. This time he got to sit right up front. He loved it and then right at the end even threw his hands up in the air to show us how much fun he was having. Where do kids learn this stuff? It was just too adorable. Next time we will capture it, if we remember the camera. Sunday afternoon we came home for lunch and naps and then my parents and grandmother arrived. They are in Radium all week for vacation. We went out for supper to Cactus Club, ending a great summer weekend; of which there are few left.
