Weekend in Saskatoon

It was great to get away for a weekend in Saskatoon. Jaret and Terry stayed at home in Calgary for the long weekend and I flew to Saskatoon. It was exciting having a weekend to catch up with friends and family, but it was hard being away from home, especially since Jaret was sick most of the weekend.
My cousin Chad's wedding was beautiful. Chad is a cousin on my biological father's side of the family. I hadn't seen many of those relatives for years. It was so nice of Chad to include Lisa and I in his special day. His new wife, Mary, looked stunning in her wedding gown and made a beautiful bride.
It was so much fun getting together with some of my girlfriends on Sunday evening for supper (and dessert!) at The Keg. We spent the whole evening eating and visiting and time flew by, before we knew it, it was 10 o'clock. I also got to see my girlfriend Bernell who I went to university with and I got a tour of the new house she and Dale have built.
My parents were also up in Saskatoon and stayed at my grandmother's as well. It was nice to be able to spend some time with family as well.
