Rainy Weekend

It has been raining here since Thursday. I kind of like the rain though - the sound of the rain on the windows and the excuse to stay inside and cuddle. Which is exactly what we did this weekend. It was a great weekend for cuddling on the couch and I got lots of cuddles with Jaret.
Shea and I went to see Made of Honor on Friday night. It was a cute, romantic, girly type movie. And it was the perfect way to spend a rainy night. Many others had the same idea as the theatre was packed. When I got home, I watched Grey's that I taped from the night before. So, I had a double dose of Patrick Dempsey.
Saturday morning came but Jaret slept in. Terry got up and went and did some errands while Jaret and I just took it easy. He enjoyed getting into a bit of trouble though. He took all the toilet paper off the roll and tried to flush it down the toilet. What a monkey! That afternoon, both Jaret and I had a nice long afternoon nap. Jaret also enjoyed playing in the rain a little bit. It wasn't a cold weekend, just rainy. In the evening, Mark, Shea, and McKinley came over and we ordered take out from Green Papaya after being very disappointed that every Oriental Phoenix location was closed for the evening. We enjoyed an evening talking about possible travel plans around Europe.
Sunday was a quiet day since Jaret and Terry are not feeling 100%. We had Tim Horton's for breakfast and then managed to get out for a bit in the afternoon. We checked out a couple of showhomes and then spent some time at Chapters looking at which books to buy for our European travels. And that has been our weekend.
