Mother's Day

Terry received some great news on Tuesday - he passed his last CGA class and will be designated once all the paper work goes through, within the next couple of weeks. He went out on Tuesday evening with a few friends who he took the last class with. Then we celebrated with Terry on Wednesday night by going out to Julio's Barrio for supper. After many years of taking courses, he feels very relieved that he is finally finished.
Friday night we enjoyed supper at Mark and Shea's house. It was Mark's birthday so we celebrated with having raclette and birthday cake. After supper we walked to the park and enjoyed watching the boys slide down the double slide together - they were so cute. After the kids were in bed, Terry and Mark were too tired to play a game (I think they just didn't want the girls to beat them), so we sat around and visited instead.
Saturday we did a bit of shopping and house cleaning. It was a quiet and uneventful day. Except for the fact that while shopping, Terry took Jaret to the washroom and left his wallet there. By the time Terry realized what he had done, he went back for it and it was still there with all the cards but the cash was gone. DIsappointing but we are glad that it wasn't worse and everything was missing.
Sunday was Mother's Day and I got to sleep in. I woke to Jaret bringing me a fresh croissant from "Horton's" and a hot chocolate from Starbuck's. I also got a lovely card from him and was spoiled with a nice gift. I got a recharging station from Pottery Barn (wooden box that can hold mail, has a drawer, and a place to plug in cell phones) and a beautiful orchid. Jaret also gave me a massage. It was a relaxing day. We ended the day with Terry making supper and just relaxing for the evening.
