Quiet Winter Weekend

Our weekend was pretty quiet, especially this afternoon when we were all enjoying a long Sunday afternoon nap.

On Friday, Terry and I went out for supper with Jay and Brandee. We had a new babysitter look after Jaret. He's our usual babysitter's brother. Josh did great and Jaret had lots of fun playing trains with him, watching Barney and went to bed without any difficulty for him.

Saturday was Open House at the school so I was busy most of the day with that. It went really well and was constantly busy. I was pretty tired by the end of the day. Jaret and Terry went out shopping - don't ask what they were shopping for. Terry taught Jaret to say, "Mommy, Daddy new car volvo." Saturday evening Terry went to work (until 2 a.m. I might add - crazy). I played with Jaret and we did our usual Saturday Night Dance Party and then once Jaret was down, I did laundry and cleaned the house.

We hit a bit of a cold snap here with some snow and didn't feel like going out a whole lot today. We did go out to the Stampede grounds today for the Lululemon warehouse sale. I was so excited to get a couple pairs of pants and some tops. It was quite the setup - something I hope they do every year. Then we all napped the afternoon away. After nap time, I got supper ready and Terry went out to shovel. Jaret enjoyed watching him out the window, especially when he threw snow at the window, Jaret just laughed and laughed.

Hope you are all doing well and that you get through the cold winter days that are upon us - at least the days are starting to get longer!
