Fun With Toys

Things are once again busy with being home and Terry and I being back to work. Terry is also working on his last course and has quite a bit of work ahead this weekend with one assignment to work on and some posts that he needs to do for an on-line discussion group that he is graded on. Work is also keeping us both busy and it is hard to believe that tomorrow is Thursday. I guess it is a good sign when the week flies by.
Jaret is doing well and is enjoying playing with all his new toys. He now has a playroom in the basement where most of the big toys are kept. We cleared out a corner and bought a large carpet to be kept down there. It's been great to have him play while I enjoy a walk on the treadmill. Now I won't have an excuse to be on the treadmill more regularly! We are also beginning the process of potty training. Jaret enjoys sitting on his potty but doesn't always make use of it like he should. However, we are seeing some progress as he has peed on it a few nights in a row - so that is small success. The other night when he peed on it I was in the next room to give him some privacy. Well, that was a bit of a mistake. He peed but then he tried to do what Mommy does and he took the bottom portion of the potty out to dump in the toilet to flush, but ended up dumping most of it on the floor. It was kind of funny though. He likes to be helpful.
