We had a good weekend for the most part. Terry and I went to a movie on Friday night while Mark and Shea babysat. We saw Dan in Real Life. It was really good - and funny. I would recommend it as a movie to see. Then on Saturday, I decorated the house for Christmas while Terry put up our Christmas lights. The house looks very festive. I hate that I have to leave it every day to go to work, kind of wish I could just hang out at home with the tree lights on and the fireplace going. We babysat McKinley on Saturday night while Mark and Shea went out to dinner. It was the first time we were able to return the favour for babysitting. McKinley and Jaret enjoyed playing together. We introduced McKinley to our Saturday Night dance party. He just laughed and laughed as Jaret danced and jumped around the living room. It was very enjoyable. We look forward to many more opportunities to babysit. Saturday night was a rough night for Jaret and myself. Jaret has his bottom right molar cutting through and he was up about six times in the night. I was very tired most of Sunday, and I don't know that I have caught up still. Sunday afternoon we watched the Riders win over B.C. We are very excited that they are heading to the Grey Cup to play Winnipeg. We will be watching that game this coming weekend. Jaret slept through almost the entire game - really what I also should have been doing, but I just had to cheer the Riders on. I wouldn't have wanted to miss that game.
Things are about to get very busy around here. Terry is studying for an exam that he writes at the beginning of December. I will be busy working on report cards and then proofing all elementary reports before sending them out via e-mail. I am hoping all works well with the new software program.
Jaret is getting bigger everyday. Just the other day he was walking up the stairs with one foot on a step and then the other foot on the next step (grown up steps, I call them) and not even hanging onto the railing or wall. Talk about needing to do a double take as I wonder where my little boy was who was just learning to crawl up those very steps. He is talking more and more and is becoming much more independent and stubborn - not that we have any idea where he gets that from?! He is such a blessing though and we cherish each day and moment we have with him.
Hope you are all well. Have a great week! Just five weeks until Christmas...
The pictures are of McKinley and Jaret. I call them, "Monkey see, Monkey do."

Great pictures Jenn. They are so cute. But then I am a little biased. Can't wait till we can get pictures of them actually playing together!
