Where is this coming from? Why this question?
Then the light bulb moment for me - he is getting to the stage where he is a little embarrassed over any lipstick being left behind as proof that his Mommy still lavishes love on him through hugs and kisses.
Both my kids are cuddle bugs and they allow me to show them my love as I shower them with attention through lots of hugs and kisses. But I also realize, sadly, that the time will come when those hugs and kisses aren't so well received and are few and far between. So, in the meantime, I will take every opportunity to cherish the moments when my children allow me to give them hugs and kisses. And when Jaret asks about the lipstick, I will smile and still give him a big smooch. However, so that I don't embarrass him, I will ensure that I have not left any trace of lipstick behind.
Happy Valentine's Day! Now go kiss your kids, even if you have lipstick on.
Roses from Daddy for Valentine's Day
The character trait for the month at school was kindness and one way
to show kindness is through giving Valentine's to their friends at school.
