Friendship

I feel most blessed by the women in my life whom I am proud to call my friends.  Through my life I have been influenced and inspired by so many women - young and old.  Some of these women I have been friends with during different seasons of my life and others have been in my life for longer periods of time.  I am grateful for the many women I count among my friends.  You each know who you are and I want you to know that I am so grateful for you - those near and far.

Last night, I had the opportunity to go out with some of my dear friends.  We enjoyed the Fireside Singers at TCU followed by drinks and dessert at Earl's.  The performance by the Fireside Singers was incredible and definitely gets one into the Christmas Spirit.  These girls (Kelli, Andrea, and Sandra) have been a part of my life since I worked alongside them at Silverwood Heights just over 11 years ago.  We became friends instantly and developed a strong bond of friendship.  That friendship has only grown over the years, despite distance separating us and busy schedules with families.  I am so blessed to have each of you in my life and appreciate that you have been there through difficult times and to celebrate during the good times!  Thanks for being part of the last decade, girls.  I look forward to what the next few decades have in store for us - including some travel plans.
