Last night when I was tucking Jaret into bed we were talking about how the fact that he won't be seven when he wakes up. He told me that being seven was awesome and that some of the highlights were going to Maui, being big enough for the green roller coaster at Calaway Park, and loosing his first tooth. I am grateful that he has some great memories of being seven and hope that each year will bring more special moments for him.
Jaret is compassionate and soft-hearted. He loves cuddles and he loves being a boy and playing with his friends. He could spend hours outside on the trampoline, riding his bike, playing hide and seek and just hanging out with his friends. He is always sensitive to include his sister but also likes time just to himself to build lego or play with Pirate Playmobil. He enjoys reading and is really into Geronimo Stilton books right now. He finds reading more and more is an easy way to stay up a bit later each night - smartie pants! Jaret sees everything as black and white. He is determined when he sets his mind to something. And most importantly, Jaret has a heart for the Lord. He enjoys reading the Bible and is good at memorizing scripture. My mommy heart couldn't be more proud!
Happy 8th Birthday, Jaret! Hope you had fun at Montana's celebrating your special day. We love you so very much!
