I feel so blessed in my life. This blog is to share those blessings with our loved ones who live too far away to share in the joys we encounter on a daily basis. It is my mission to live a life that is full of gratitude and have a heart that is full of gratitude. Hope that you are taking the time to experience the joy in your life and to be grateful for your many blessings. ~ "When we lose one blessing, another is often, most unexpectedly, given in its place." ~C.S. Dodgeball Championship
Jaret loves school! He especially loves gym class and the intramural time that Suzanne Hatch plans for the students. Jaret's dodgeball team's name - Thrashing Bombers. The team consists of students from Grade 1-3 and coached by students in Grade 5-6. It is fun watching them play with the various ages. Jaret's team was the last place team all season. But the fact that they were last place didn't crush their spirits; instead, they came together better as a team over the last couple of weeks. The coaches coached a little more and the students on the team encouraged each other more and that began making a difference. They made it to the championship game. They got to play in the new gymnasium at our school and after a best out of three, the Thrashing Bombers won! Jaret was so excited and couldn't have been more proud of his team and the perseverance of their hard work. It was wonderful seeing their skill develop with their confidence and the character that prevailed. Tomorrow Jaret's team plays against the teachers - I have already packed my runners so that I can play against his team!
PS - Update - Teachers won at Dodgeball which seemed to shock the students.
