Another Trip to SK

We made our second trip to SK last week. We drove to Regina and spent a few days there. The weather was nice and so we again spent time in the pool and enjoying time together. We had a couple of fires and I can't even tell you how many roasted marshmallows Jaret ate! A highlight for me while home was one evening when we woke Jaret up at around 11pm to watch a meteor shower. He was in awe over all the "falling stars" that he saw. As it was getting late and cold, Terry took Jaret back in to bed but I stayed outside. I was cuddled up in a blanket and ended up falling asleep on the deck under the stars. It was amazing! From Regina we drove to Humboldt for an evening. With Terry's parents moving to Warman, Kim and Jackie threw a Going Away Party for Geoff and Nettie. It was fun visiting with all their friends who came out to see them off. Jaret and Kirra had lots of fun, getting lots of attention from everyone but also chasing around the two puppies. We were happy that Kirra warmed up to the dogs and wasn't terrified with them running around. The next morning the kids and I drove to Saskatoon. Terry had driven in earlier that morning to fly back to Calgary. It was unexpected but worked okay with the kids and I being in Saskatoon on our own for a couple of days. We stayed with my girlfriend Kelli and her family. I had done a garden party Stella show which was so fun. After the party, Kelli and I stayed up and visited with a couple of friends past midnight. Good times. During our time in Saskatoon, the kids and I: had ice cream at The Bus Stop, rode the train at Kinsmen Park, had lunch at Fudd's, visited my Grandmother, pool time at Kelli's, visited my friend Ruth, visited Leanne, supper at The Berry Barn with Terry's parents, and mini golf. So in the short time we were in Saskatoon, we were really busy. But it was so much fun. I love Saskatoon in the summer! It was a wonderful trip and we loved seeing all our friends and family.
