Just Another Day...

My day did not start off well as I woke up after not sleeping well and had a migraine to start the day. It was difficult making it through the morning teaching but with so few days left with my students, I really wanted to be there. My headache began subsiding over the course of the morning. I was so thankful for that because after picking of the kids and having a quick lunch, the kids and I met my parents at the airport for a quick visit. They were on their way to Vancouver for the weekend but had a layover in Calgary. Although it was a really brief visit, it was great to see them. They also wanted to deliver Kirra's birthday gift to her - An American Doll with some outfits for her doll and for her. So adorable! Kirra absolutely loves her new doll. She walked out of the airport with her doll on her shoulders. Then when we got home, she took off her own shoes and then her doll's shoes and set them side by side on the carpet. She loves this new doll! We finally had a sunny day here today and so the kids enjoyed playing outside. Blowing bubbles and chasing after them to pop them and jumping on the trampoline. I love hearing the laughter of my children and seeing their smiles and the sun shine on their face. After supper, Jaret had his last t-ball game. He really enjoys playing t-ball and does so well at it. He puts forth his best effort and is becoming skilled at hitting and fielding. He shows sportsmanship and has such a positive attitude. After the game, the team received their medals and then we finished the season with ice cream at Marble Slab. I love days like this!
