Valentine's Day

Jaret was so excited about having school on Valentine's Day! He wore red to school in celebration of the special day. Every person he passed in the hallway got a, "Happy Valentime's Day!" That is not a typo - he pronounces it just like that and it is so cute. Jaret had fun writing out his Valentine's to his friends and being able to put them into their handmade paper bag mailboxes at school. He seemed to love everything about Valentine's Day and a big smile would come to his face when he talked about it or watched Cailou's Valentine Special.
Kirra was generous with her cuddles but I think that is because she is still not feeling herself. She wasn't so receptive to hugs and kisses from Jaret as he gave her a Valentine. But, once she took the Valentine, she seemed to appreciate it and held on to it for quite some time.
I made a steak supper but it might have been better enjoyed after putting Kirra to bed. She was so tired at supper and didn't have much of an appetite. As a result, she was clingy and fussy and I ended up holding her until it was decided to put her down for the night. Once we did that, Jaret, Terry, and I enjoyed dessert that Terry brought home. Once Jaret was down for the night, Terry and I worked on financials for my Stella & Dot. Pretty romantic, hey? I guess that is what almost 11 years of marriage does - lol.
