I feel so blessed in my life. This blog is to share those blessings with our loved ones who live too far away to share in the joys we encounter on a daily basis. It is my mission to live a life that is full of gratitude and have a heart that is full of gratitude. Hope that you are taking the time to experience the joy in your life and to be grateful for your many blessings. ~ "When we lose one blessing, another is often, most unexpectedly, given in its place." ~C.S. Olympics
With the Olympics on, it seems to be all the television is turned to; as we wait with anticpation to see how we do in the medal count. The atheletes representing Canada have trained so hard and finally have the opportunity to participate in their delegated sport in front of the world. It is exciting watching it on t.v. and also heart-breaking as you see disappointment on the faces of those who don't reach their expectations. Terry was able to fly out to Vancouver last week and was there for two days. During that time, he took in some of the speed skating. He watched the men's and women's 1000m long track. Our men didn't medal but he was there to see Christine Nesbitt win gold. It was a pretty awesome experience. He enjoyed his time at the Olympic games but was exhausted when he returned home and thankful to be back with his family.
