I feel so blessed in my life. This blog is to share those blessings with our loved ones who live too far away to share in the joys we encounter on a daily basis. It is my mission to live a life that is full of gratitude and have a heart that is full of gratitude. Hope that you are taking the time to experience the joy in your life and to be grateful for your many blessings. ~ "When we lose one blessing, another is often, most unexpectedly, given in its place." ~C.S. Summer is Here
It finally feels like summer is here. We have had such beautiful weather lately and it sounds like it is expected to last into the weekend. The temperatures have ranged between 24-29 degrees. The sun has been shining and there has been little wind most days. I love the hot weather and so we are spending as much time outside in the backyard as possible. I can handle the hot temperatures even more when the house is cool because of our air conditioning. This past weekend, we didn't do much at all except get out for some walks and enjoy time in the backyard. Jaret's new thing is putting the water hose on his slide so that he can slide down into the pool at the bottom - his own little waterslide. Well, Terry uses it too - lol. Jaret defines the term "Monkey see, monkey do." When Terry decided to fall backwards into the pool with his clothes on, Jaret decided to do the same. Then when Terry decided to go down the waterslide head first on his stomach, Jaret decided to give it a try too. At least they had lots of fun! We also had Kirra in her swimsuit and dipped her feet in the pool. She didn't care for it much. She'll probably be like her mom and enjoy just sitting beside the pool and splashing around just too cool off enough before more lounging. Kirra's lounging these days doesn't get her off the deck and out of the shade though to protect her from the sun. We have much of the same planned over the next few days - as long as the sun keeps shining.
