Weekend in November

With Remembrance Day falling on a Tuesday this year, Terry didn't get a long weekend. I had Friday off but then had to be at work on Monday. We did however get away a bit for the weekend. We drove to Red Deer on Friday night to visit my Auntie Vicki and Uncle Dennis. We were a little late due to the volume of traffic heading to Edmonton for the rodeo. But we made it, eventually, and enjoyed a wonderful supper and a relaxing evening of visiting. We stayed the night and travelled home so Jaret could have a nap while we watched the Rider game. Before leaving we took a few pictures, but Jaret wasn't very cooperative. He thought it was more fun to try to run away so that he could be chased and tickled.
The Rider game on Saturday afternoon was very disappointing and with not even scoring one touchdown, ended up loosing the game. Can't really win football games with seven turnovers and only four field goals to give you points. Very disappointing.
Sunday we went to church, did a trip to Costco, and had a late afternoon nap. We then went out to The Keg for supper and met my parents at the airport as they had a layover on their way home from Vancouver. It was nice to see them, even though all to brief.
Days around here seem to be a little stressful. Terry has been very busy with work and also has a big decision to make in regard to his career and a possible move for our family. We do have some time to make the decision but it is stressful and ask for your prayers.
Pictures of Jaret are taken of him just today, hanging out with his new stuffies. The croc and koala were a gift from our friends Tim and Lara from Australia. He loves the koala especially and keeps carrying it around giving it kisses and saying that it is his koala baby. Thank you for the gift Francis family. Jaret loves it.
Enjoy the rest of the week, nice that it is a short week.
