Life - a little too hectic

Hello everyone! It has been awhile since I have updated the blog and I haven't even taken any pictures or video lately. I will have to get on that in the next little bit. Life has been busy and hectic around here. But things are good and we are taking it all in stride.

Terry wrote his CGA National exam last Tuesday night. He is thankful that it is done but is a little nervous as to how he did. He did not come out of it feeling as confident as he would have liked and doesn't find out if he passed or not until May. Since he is done his course, he has continued to be busy with work - but he enjoys it and his busy scheudle helps the days to go by quickly.

I have also been busy at work. We just finished report card time so between doing my reports and proofing reports, it was busy. I have also been using a lot of my admin time with new family interviews. It seems that is taking up the majority of my time at work. But, I am enjoying it and am keeping on top of things pretty well. We have parent-teacher interviews before Easter and then will enjoy four days off for the break. Our spring break doesn't come until April 11 - 21.

Jaret is doing great. He is talking so much. Some of his favourite expressions are, "What?" and "Did you hear that?" or "What's that?" He is really putting his sentences together and is speaking really clearly. He is particular - not sure where he gets that. Today at the dayhome he didn't even want to eat because he was wearing a new bib and he didn't really care for that. What a little peanut! We have discovered that Jaret must be a Roughrider fan through and through as he continues to tell us that his favourite colour is green. I am sure that will make the grandpas proud!

Many of you know that my mom was recently in the hospital. She suffered a mini-stroke but is doing fine. Thanks for all your prayers and calling to see how she's doing.

Terry and I celebrated 8 years on Saturday. We went out for supper and then to a movie. As I was taking our babysitter home, I got in an accident. I hit a guy who was trying to do a left turn from the right lane. He turned right in front of me as I was in the lane he should have been in. The streets were very slippery as we had some heavy, wet snow that evening and the temperatures were just below freezing. Hopefully all will go smoothly with insurance. We are thankful that no one was hurt. Now it is just getting the vechile fixed. One place I called today said they could get the vechile in in July. I did manage to find a place that should be able to do it within the next few weeks.

So, that's a bit about what's going on here. I will take some pics or video in the next week to post. Hope you are all well. Spring is just around the corner!
