Happy Easter

Happy Easter Everyone! We hope that you are enjoying the day! We were up early this morning - as is usually the case around here. It felt really early for both Terry and I since we were up late with having gone to the Flames game. It was a terrific game and the Flames won. We had great seats - 11th row right behind the Wild bench. Some guys sitting next to us got a text from a friend during the game saying that they were seen on CBC Hockey Night in Canada. Did anyone spot us? Did we make it too?

Our day around here started with getting ready and then enjoying an Easter Egg Hunt. Jaret had a blast searching for all the eggs. He was really excited. In each egg were some chocolate eggs and some loonies and toonies for his piggy bank. He also got spoiled with some other items in his Easter basket. After the Easter Egg Hunt we went to church. Jaret loves going to church and does really well in the nursery. There was a gentleman at church who presented a one-man play on the Easter story from the view of the apostle Thomas. It was amazing. He is involved in the Canadian Badlands Passion Play. And the music was awesome this morning, complete with a whole orchestra. It was how Easter should be celebrated! HE IS RISEN - HE IS RISEN INDEED!

When we got home we had some lunch (and some chocolate too) and then Jaret and I played one of his new games - Memory. He did pretty well, seeing as it was his first time playing. Now he is down for a nap so he is rested for our Easter meal over at Mark and Shea's. He is excited about going and playing with McKinley. It has been a very nice weekend - full of fun, but also some relaxation.

HAPPY EASTER!
