Christmas Letter 2007

MERRY CHRISTMAS!
Christmas 2007
Season’s Greetings from the Lockhart Family! We hope this letter finds you well and enjoying the Christmas season.
This past year has been another busy one. It is amazing to see how fast Jaret is growing. He has turned from a toddler into a little boy and is becoming more independent. He is curious about everything and he loves to point everything out to us. He is talking in full sentences and loves to repeat anything he hears, so we have to be extra careful these days. He loves to dance. Saturday Night is usually a night for our “Dance Party” as Jaret puts it. We turn up the music and dance around the living room.
Terry is enjoying his job at the University of Calgary as Senior Financial Analyst for the Faculty of Kinesiology. He has some long days but they go by quickly with all the work that needs to get done in a day. He is also very busy with his course work. The good news though is that he is working on his last course and will receive his CGA designation in the spring. We are all very excited about that and look forward to the time it will free up.
Jenn is teaching Grade 3 at Bearspaw Christian School half-time and is also working as the elementary vice-principal. She shares a class of 25 students with another teacher and is very much enjoying the job sharing experience. Jenn loves the change that administration brings to the job.
It is hard to believe that we have been living in Calgary for a couple of years now. We really enjoy living here with opportunity for many trips to the mountains. But there are definitely times when we miss the slower pace of life in Saskatchewan and being closer to family and friends.
Christmas will be spent in Humboldt with Terry’s family, followed by time with Jenn’s family in Regina. We look forward to the time with family this holiday season. We hope to continue to keep in touch with each of you. If you are ever out Calgary way, please give us a call so we can plan to get together. We pray that you and yours are able to spend the holidays together. May you have a Blessed Christmas and a Happy New Year!
All our love – Terry, Jenn & Jaret
PS - Our family pictures were scanned and unfortunately wouldn't upload.
