Weekend in Banff

My parents spent the past week in Banff at Rocky Mountain Resort. They then came and spent Thursday evening with us. They gave Jaret a birthday present - a little leather chair that is just his size. He loves his new chair. After they spent time with Jaret, we took him to Mark and Shea's so that they could babysit and we could enjoy dinner out. We enjoyed a meal at the Broken Plate in Kennsington. It was a nice and relaxing evening.
My parents had the condo booked for the week but flew back to SK on Friday morning. So, we headed out to Banff to stay the weekend in the condo. We enjoyed our time out there. We walked around Banff Springs Hotel and around Banff townsite. Then on Sunday morning we drove back to Calgary. It was nice seeing the snow fall in big snowflakes as we woke up this morning. Most of the time we were in Banff, Jaret kept saying, "Tauntins" which means mountains. He loves being in the mountains. We feel blessed that we live so close.
