Enjoy the sunshine today! Hope everyone will be cheering for our Riders as they play tomorrow afternoon.
I feel so blessed in my life. This blog is to share those blessings with our loved ones who live too far away to share in the joys we encounter on a daily basis. It is my mission to live a life that is full of gratitude and have a heart that is full of gratitude. Hope that you are taking the time to experience the joy in your life and to be grateful for your many blessings. ~ "When we lose one blessing, another is often, most unexpectedly, given in its place." ~C.S. Pumpkin Giveaway
Our community hosted it's second annual pumpkin giveaway. So, we walked down to the park to see what it was all about. There were many families with their children there and lots of pumpkins to choose from. Jaret had fun running around the field and also checking out all the pumpkins. We met up with Jay and Brandee and with Jenn and Steve and their kids Julianna and Evan there. Julianna and Jaret are about a year apart. They seemed to have fun playing around the pumpkins together. It was a sunny day, with a temperature of about +8. However, the wind made it a bit cooler. I don't think the coolness bothered the kids as much as it bothered the adults. Jaret did pick out his pumpkin and was quite proud to help mom carry it to the stroller so we could bring it home with us. Not sure what we will do with the pumpkin now - think we might wait another year or two before we start the pumpkin carving tradition. Jaret also really enjoyed getting the treat bag - that he of course shared with Mom and Dad. With some of the treats in the treat bag, we of course are making sure we are brushing his teeth regularly, Grandpa - not to worry.
