So glad the weekend is here - enjoy!
I feel so blessed in my life. This blog is to share those blessings with our loved ones who live too far away to share in the joys we encounter on a daily basis. It is my mission to live a life that is full of gratitude and have a heart that is full of gratitude. Hope that you are taking the time to experience the joy in your life and to be grateful for your many blessings. ~ "When we lose one blessing, another is often, most unexpectedly, given in its place." ~C.S. Multi-tasking
With our friends and family living so far away, I am on the phone a lot. When we talk with our parents, we will often put them on speaker phone so they can say hello to Jaret and have hopes of him joining in on the conversation. Tonight as I was talking on the phone with my mom, Terry and Jaret were playing in the living room with his trains and with a train puzzle. I put my mom on speaker phone but it wasn't very loud. Jaret, in wanting to talk to "Bum-ma," took the phone and held it up to his ear. He listened to my mom while not missing a beat on his puzzle. He told her he was playing with toys. When she asked what toys he said his trains. Then we asked him to say good-bye and he said bye and an I love you. But he wouldn't give me the phone. It seems he still wanted to be part of the conversation, so I ended up getting the other phone to finish my phone call with my mom, all the while, Jaret listened on the other end as he went about his puzzle and then moving on to his train. Multi-tasking while talking on the phone at age 2!
So glad the weekend is here - enjoy!
