New Table

No, this isn't about a new table for Jenn. Those of you who know me well, know that I have wanted a new dining room table for a very long time but, this is about Jaret's new table. As an early birthday present from Terry's parents, Jaret got his very own little table. He absolutely loves this new table. He likes sitting in a chair his very own size and likes looking at books, doing puzzles, and eating snacks at his table. We haven't let him eat meals at it because we really want him to eat at the table with us each night. It was tempting to let him eat supper there tonight because he seemed he just wasn't going to eat. However, we coaxed him up to the table by taking away his booster seat and letting him sit on the big chair by himself. It seems that's all it took to then get him to sit and eat with us. I can hardly believe it - my little boy is growing up and becoming so very independent!
