The beauty of fall is amazing right now. It is awe-inspiring, seeing all the different colours of the changing leaves, along with the blue sky, and the snow-peaked mountians - it makes me just take a deep breath and thank God for His Creation. Today we drove to a park near Confederation Golf Course and took some pictures while we just enjoyed the brilliant colours. A couple of times, Jaret just looked up and watched the leaves as they fell to the ground. "Fall, fall, fall," he said. The after Jaret's nap today, he and I went to the park. He had to bring "Tetty" though, so that Teddy could go on the swings with him. Jaret kept saying, "Tetty swing too" and "More swinging" and "High, high, higher." Jaret also discovered fox tails today. When he picked one, I took it and tickled him. He couldn't stop laughing. He thought it was so funny that he needed to, "Tickle, Tetty, too."
It has been a busy weekend. We did some cleaning yesterday. Cleaned the house from top to bottom, Terry even steam cleaned the carpets. And we washed the vehicles, inside and out. Not sure why the need to clean hit us - it's not even spring! We also did a little shopping, as Jaret needed a new fall coat and some pj's. We found a cute little corduroy jacket at Old Navy - he looks pretty adorable in it. He also helped me pick out the pj's and so we ended up with some pj's with big trucks all over them. He loves his "Big truck pants," as he calls them. Life is good and it is easy to enjoy the small moments that make our life such a blessing.
