Bow Falls

One of my favourite places to go is Bow Falls in Banff. I love the sound of the water rushing over the falls. I love the smell of the pine trees. I love the rugged rocks and mountains that comprise the scenery. I love just spending time watching Jaret explore God's beautiful creation. Our family drove out to Banff on Sunday after church. We did some shopping, had lunch, and then headed to the falls. Jaret has gotten to the stage of not really wanting to sit for a picture - much to mom's dismay. I can't really blame him, he is an active little boy who just wants to explore. We did manage to get some good picutres though - some that were posed and some of Jaret on the move. I enjoyed watching Jaret and Terry find rocks to throw into the water. Jaret would have been in the water if we had let him and came close to it a couple of times. It was a gorgeous day. The temperature was just right and the sky was blue. It was truly a wonderful way to spend an afternoon. I am so grateful that we live so close to the mountains and can take opportunity to head out that way every so often. Each time I am out there I am reminded of God's majesty and how amazing He is!
