Weekend

It is unbelievable how quickly weekends pass by. Our weekend began with Terry's dad and brother visiting. They rode out to Calgary on their motorbikes and plan to do some biking in B.C. and then Jasper on the way home. It was nice to spend some time with them on their way through. Jaret sat on Grandpa Geoff's motorbike but didn't really think much of it - maybe it was because he didn't get to go for a ride. Oh well, one day, he might get to when he's a little (or alot!) older.
Saturday, Jaret had fun playing with his babysitter, Rachel. She spent the day with him splashing around in his kiddie pool in the backyard (we'll post some pictures of him in his little pool the next time we take some) while Terry and I were out on the golf course. The school I am teaching at had their annual golf tournament and Terry and I were fortunate enough to get complimentary tickets. It was my first time out golfing and I did not bad - for a beginner. I was thankful that the twosome we golfed with (the Grade One teacher and her husband) were very patient and encouraging people. Now I'd like to take some golf lessons; I think this is really something I could get into. There was a hole in one prize on one of the holes and Terry was the closest person all day. He was only 7 feet away from the hole and from winning a Hummer Golf Cart. He was wishing that he would have won! I think he was already envisioning himself riding around golf courses in it. It was a pretty cool golf cart.
Today was spent just doing some cleaning and errands. And that was the weekend. I wish they didn't go by so quickly.
