I am not sure where the time has gone? My holidays are going by much too quickly! As holidays often do, I guess.
Our weekend in Banff with Mark and Shea was enjoyable. We stayed at the Buffalo Mountain Lodge. The outdoor hot tub was wonderful - we enjoyed relaxing in the hot tub under the moonlit sky. We also loved the wood burning fireplace in our room - it was cozy. One of the best parts of the weekend was our meal at The Maple Leaf on Friday night. The meal was delicious and we enjoyed just taking our time and visiting over supper. Come Sunday though, Terry and I were excited to get home to Jaret. We called a few times while we were gone to see how he was doing. One conversation was on speaker phone and Jaret was trying to kiss the phone when he heard our voices. I guess he missed us as much as we missed him. We were also looking forward to getting home to spend some time with Terry's parents and to see our garage. Terry's dad worked hard to drywall our garage while we were gone and it looks super. Thanks Dad!
I am enjoying being on holidays and spending time with Jaret. Today we went to Airdrie to visit Dana and her little girl Avery. On the way out there, Jaret fell asleep in his carseat and I couldn't resist getting a couple of pictures of him. Jaret had fun playing with Avery while at her house, but it was discovered that we will have to work on the concept of sharing a bit more. Here are some pictures that I couldn't resist sharing.
