Two weekends ago, Kirra and I drove to Saskatoon so that I could attend an anniversary celebration. The night before I left though, I was invited to join my friend Krista for the Chris Tomlin concert. What an amazing evening of praise and worship! Kirra, of course, was disappointed that she wasn't able to come as she loves - music, Chris Tomlin, and concerts - despite never being to a concert in her life. Teehee. Thanks for the invite, Krista. What a great evening!
Love this new song by Chris Tomlin...
After our playdate, we met my Grandma Martha for lunch. It was so great to visit with her. Our visits are not as frequent with us not getting back to Saskatoon very often. From there, we drove back out to Warman. Kirra spent the evening with her grandparents (even going for manicures with grandma), while I drove back in to Saskatoon for the Anniversary celebration for my Auntie Leota and Uncle Walter. It began with a church service at St. Peter & Paul's Ukrainian Catholic church, followed by cocktails and a great Ukrainian dinner and party! To celebrate marriages that last 50 years is such a blessing. So grateful to have been a part of this evening. Happy Anniversary, Auntie Leota & Uncle Walter! I love you both!

Last weekend, being Thanksgiving, we travelled as a family back to Saskatoon to spend the weekend with Terry's parents. We decided to leave Saturday, and this time Terry drove so no speeding ticket on the way. We got to Warman mid-afternoon and the rest of Terry's family arrived shortly thereafter. We celebrated Thanksgiving with supper that evening. It was great to have Terry's brother and his family join us to celebrate. Kirra and Jaret enjoy spending time with Justin's kids - Jayden and Kaydra. Kirra and Kaydra went to the park and all four of the kids had fun playing hide n' seek. I love seeing the kids play so well together. We enjoyed our evening together. That night however, things changed when Kirra got sick - a carbonated drink and too many cream puffs it seems are a bad combination. It was long lasting and Kirra felt much better afterwards - don't they always?! She was well enough the next day when she joined Jaret and Grandpa for a movie. And Jaret was happy that we got in the game of Scum, especially because he was president a few rounds. It was a good weekend overall, rounded out by meeting up with my friends, Kelli and Andrea for breakfast before the drive home. I don't get to see my girlfriends as often as I would like so it is always good to catch up over a visit. Now to plan our next girl's trip!
Kaydra was so cute, she giggled the whole time she was hiding.
In the end, not so hard to find. But sooo cute!
It has been awhile since we have had a family pic...
Hope each of you enjoyed your Thanksgiving weekend with family and friends. A wonderful time to reflect on the many blessings bestowed upon us!
