The Nutcracker

I hadn't been to The Nutcracker in over 20 years. It is really hard to believe that it had been that long. It was amazing to be able to go on a Mother-Daughter Date to the ballet to see The Nutcracker. It was a wonderful evening with light snow falling outside which made the evening seem even more magical. Kirra and I were so excited to go see The Nutcracker together. In fact, we were a little giddy about it. We have read the book time and time again but she and I had never been to the ballet together. And The Nutcracker was everything we imagined it to be. Kirra loved every minute of it and was so grateful that we could spend the evening together. She even got her very own Nutcracker, which she had been wanting for ages. The only downside was we missed the intermission of pictures with some of the dancers. But, Kirra assures me that there is always next year...
