Summer is almost over...

Today the sun was out but the air was crisp and it felt like autumn is just around the corner.
Terry and Jaret went for a mini-camping trip this past Thursday night. I say mini because they were only there for the evening and then returned home. They set up the tent at a great place in Kananaskis right by the Elbow River. They enjoyed having a campfire complete with Jiffy Pop and roasted marshmallows. However, they returned home by 11:30 that evening. Between Jaret having a couple of meltdowns from the pj's Terry brought him to Jaret not feeling well, Terry decided to return to the comforts of home. We will have to try again next year as a family - but maybe in a rented RV.
I had my Stella & Dot Launch last night and it was so much fun! I had about nine women and we had lots of fun trying on all the jewelry. I was thankful to my sponsor, Leesa, who lent me her jewelry for the party so we had many more pieces to try on. I am excited about the next shipment of jewelry to arrive and to start putting on some 'trunk shows' as they are called.
Summer is definitely over as we have done some back to school shopping and I am starting back to work on Monday. The first few days are full days with meetings and prep time. Then we have students on Thursday for a half day followed by a bbq. Jaret doesn't start Junior Kindergarten until September 8th so he has some time to enjoy before he starts school. He is excited about going to school with me on Monday and Wednesday mornings. I am sure his first day will bring with it mixed emotions for all of us.
