I feel so blessed in my life. This blog is to share those blessings with our loved ones who live too far away to share in the joys we encounter on a daily basis. It is my mission to live a life that is full of gratitude and have a heart that is full of gratitude. Hope that you are taking the time to experience the joy in your life and to be grateful for your many blessings. ~ "When we lose one blessing, another is often, most unexpectedly, given in its place." ~C.S. Jaret's First Day of Preschool
Jaret started preschool yesterday at Foothills Alliance Preschool. The preschool is run out of our church. Jaret was so excited about starting school. Terry and I on the other hand, had mixed emotions; we can't believe how quickly Jaret is growing up. I handled the day pretty well though. When I dropped Jaret off, we were introduced to his two teachers - Mrs. Malan and Mrs. Benoit. Jaret said goodbye with a wave and walked right into class - no hug or kiss. I watched him for a few minutes to see if he settled in and to see him interact with some of the other kids in his class. I was a little sad to leave and got teary when I got to the vehicle but I had planned to do some errands to keep my mind occupied. It was really nice having the time with just Kirra to get a few things done. When I picked Jaret up from preschool, he was so excited to see me and totally made up for the earlier goodbye. He ran to me (tripped first but was okay) and threw his arms around me in a big bear hug and told me he had fun but he missed me. In his words, "Because I haven't seen you in a long time." He had a great first day of preschool. Happy First Day of Preschool, Jaret! Mommy and Daddy love you!
