A Summer Afternoon

The end of summer is near, but we are still enjoying every bit of beautiful weather we have left and making the most of it. I am so thankful for summer and so grateful for time to just relax and enjoy all of God's blessings. This afternoon, we spent time just hanging out in the backyard. Jaret helped water my flowers and splashed around in the pool. It was a relaxing and enjoyable way to spend a summer day. We had to call it quits by around 5 o'clock due to some storm clouds rolling in. We hope the storm clouds are just around this area and not in Regina where the Riders play tonight. We are looking forward to watching the game tonight. Go Riders Go!
Before putting Jaret down each night, I have been having him sit on his potty. Tonight he sat very well on the potty and then it happened. He peed - not in his potty - but in an arch all over the bathroom floor. It was pretty amusing, but I tried very hard not to laugh so he doesn't think that is what he is suppose to do. It was funny though.
Hope that you are all enjoying the last few moments of summer!
~Jenn
