So Brave

Jaret went for his 18 month immunization today. I was so proud of him; he was so brave. He didn't even flinch for the first shot in his one arm. Then we got him ready for the second and he again didn't flinch. It took a second or two and then a delayed cry did come, but only for a few seconds and he was fine. He fell asleep on the way home at 4:30 and totally threw the normal routine off for the day.
So because a later bedtime was in order tonight, we went for a walk after supper. It was beautiful out - spring should soon be here. Going on walks with Jaret really help us to see things through new eyes. He loves seeing all the dogs on the path as we walk and points and says, "Papa" which is his word for puppy. He also spots every plane that flies overhead and then laughs as he points it out to us. We can't seem to walk by a park now without Jaret noticing and wanting to play. Tonight was no different, so we stopped and Jaret played for a bit. Hopefully the play and fresh air was enough to tire him out so he will sleep well tonight, despite the late nap today.
The pictures below were taken on the weekend. Jaret loves music and loves to dance. So, when we had The Wiggles on the other day, Jaret couldn't help but wiggle and giggle right along! Each day he brings more joy into our lives and we can't help but love him more and more. We are truly blessed.
