Life in Calgary wouldn't be the same without snow in April. Early in the week, the temperatures were around +16 and I was in sandals. Since then, things have taken a turn and we have snow falling. I guess that's life close to the mountains. Jaret loves it though. He is going to be one of those boys who spends hours outside playing. Anytime he is outside, it is a struggle to get him back inside. This afternoon, Jaret wanted to see the snow falling outside, so he and I went and stood on the front step to watch the falling snow. I was ready to go back in before long because the temperature was chilly. Not Jaret though! He refused to come in. So, I took the opportunity to snap a couple of pictures of him outside while I had the chance. Then when he still didn't want to come it, I got a jacket on him and snapped a few more pictures. Typical scrapbook mom - taking pictures any chance I have! It was pretty cute when Jaret tried reaching between the railing to see if he could catch the snowflakes. I finally did get him inside, but he was not happy about it. I am looking forward to the weather warming up, when it will be much more enjoyable to be outside playing for as long as Jaret's little heart desires.
